The 13th Floor came out May 28th 1999 and the Matrix came out March 31 1999. So this movie did not come out before the Matrix. But I do like the premise of this movie better than the Matrix. Though the Matrix seemed to have had more action.

No really. This is a damn good movie! I was sadly hidden in the shadow of The Matrix. Love The Matrix as well, though the 13th floor was more of a mystery/suspense thriller. The ending to this move was amazing, and I'm one of those people that see a twist coming a mile away. I highly recommend it to everyone to see at least once.

The movie starts off a lil slow,but,picks up after the 1st qtr in. Sort of like the matrix meets total recall,with a lil bit of Vanilla sky.
