i know right, i have an 88 iroc and no-one ever tries to pull up next to me and race me, kinda pisses me off, lol! those cars(irocs) if u look at the front of them from a distance, they are freakin intimidating!!

Sounds like older In Flames, pre-2000s. Something from their Colony or Clayman CDs.

man, you have no idea. It's a clean car that looks stock and can blow the doors off most other street cars. You got something faster ? lets see it.

Mines a 350 and actually I found out why it was weak to me, it had a very small oil leak and now the engines done for. I can get a built 350 for $2000 installed or a blue printed 355 for $1900 but I dont know how well it was built so ill probably get the other.
It still runs but is almost gone, its not worth rebuilding it if I can get a higher performance engine for the same price, that and ill make sure the oil pan is new or like stainless or one that wont rust through again.

Must have ran very low on oil and spun or scored a bearing ? Maybe fried a piston or two ? I'd keep the block for a spare and get it cleaned up and machined to spec and build it up in your spare time.
Take an oil pan if it's steel and scuff it with sandpaper all over then clean it off with Brake cleaner, then paint it with 2 thin coats of Rustoleum Primer(Don't paint the Gasket side of the pan) Then take a high temp engine enamel and paint it to your color preference. It won't rust.

I found that my iroc is kind of slow it was built for low and middle range not top end.
It shifts really hard, the transmission was over $1,200 finally got to talk to the guy that owned it.
If any thing im getting a 383 built with the tpi still or a 400 small block tpi, I know it can be done although a lot of people say it cant be.

what mods are done to your IROC ? 305 or 350 ?
What kind of Trans ?
You can put TPI on 383's and 400's, just gotta tweak the fuel and spark tune a little to compensate for the larger cubic inches.
