The Nose tells the strange tale of Major Kovalyev, a playboy civil servant whose nose disappears from his face and takes on a life of his own. With his love-life on the line and his money worries mounting The Nose follows the Majors desperate efforts to, quite literally, save face. This riotous new version of Gogols surreal satire on greed, lust and pride has echoes of post-Perestroika Russia and closer to home.
