carter deserves this after all those stupid fake injuries he had, his mom talkin crap bout us and telling the nets wat plays we are going to run each time we played them. ahh well all u nets fans hes gone and we are gettin the real #15 HEDO TURKGOLU!

so what? it doesn't matter. i would say that even if i wasn't a nets fan. A player should never be hated for the way he leaves a team after giving years of heart and soul. I was hurt my how Jason Kidd left too, but you don't see me booing about it. I wish Kidd the best for the rest of his career. He left us in a similar way too (the migrane game and a public trade request)? When he came back to NJ for his first game back, we gave him an ovation for the 7 years of heart and soul he gave us.

He should be loved for what he gave to the team from 98-04, not hated for what he said in a stupid interview that was misinterpreted.

he asked the GM and president to bring in some players to make toronto a contender. They didn't do that and he was frustrated with being on a losing team.and then he had enough. the team was obviously headed in a different direction and was not gonna contend anytime soon. In that interview with TNT in 2005, the guy that interviewed Vince said that the whole thing was overblown by the media and misinterpreted by the fans.
