You're a great researcher and the video seems well put together.
But for God's sake get someone to do the voice work for you. I could barely understand what you were saying half the time.

Disc 4 of Shenmue II indeed felt very out of place, I too think it was intended to be the beginning of Shenmue III, but I believe Yu Suzuki only made that decision upon the cancellation of the Dreamcast. I also think that Shenmue II wasn't supposed to push the DC as hard as it did, the machine really has trouble handling crowded areas of the game. a decision that stems from the same circumstances?
Anyways, sorry for the late comment, I didn't realize you had these parts up yet. >.<

What should have been done:
Sega should have ported Shenmue 1 and 2 to XBox, PS2, and Gamecube (the deal with MS was a huge mistake by Sega, who seemed to be making exclusivity deals for a quick buck post-Dreamcast).
Even if they could not make a new Shenmue game, they could have made spin-offs to sustain and maybe raise brand awareness, such as a Ren game on the DS, and including Shenmue character costumes in Virtua Fighter.
Also, it staggers me that there has been no Shenmue artbook.
