AMD athlon dual core L310 1,2 ghz - ATI radeon 3200
1024x768 (there's no 1366x768 on dreamcast emulator). Almost perfect dreamcast emulation of this great fighting game (still one of the best 3d fighters you can run on pc).

  • You reckon this machine could run games such as Team Fortress 2, L4D and CSS without any problems?

  • emulation is a completely different stuff. and netbook prior to this one without a gpu chip couldn't run dreamcast games.

  • Are the graphics good, does the game run smooth and the sound doesn't crackle?

  • sound it's not very good but I think it's an emulator issue. everything else is fine

  • What game(s) do you think the f200 would start to struggle at out of interest?

  • it's still a netbook so games released in the last 2 years will obviously struggle. I tried batman and bioshock and they won't run unless you reduce the resolution to 640x480 but they will look like 10 years old games at that resolution. but still, it really depends on the game because some of them like call of duty 4 and devil may cry 4 are playable at 800x600 with 20-30 fps.

  • @mohsinahmed36 aspire one 521 can run these games i got one 2 weeks ago u can grade it up to 2gb ram then will run any game. im an css player so i can tell u css runs great with 80-140fps on low specs star craft 2 and other games run too.

sry for my bad english im from germany

  • for a desktop would be more appropriate.

  • thanks again. I am quite certain i'll get one. The red is a bit... red for a laptop (/netbook) though. A bit flashy looking!

  • this amd it's dual core and it's much better than atom 1.6 ghz. (I had a netbook with atom n270). don't look at the clock, even the culv 1,4 ghz processor is a much better processor than atom.

the atom + ion may be an interesting solution though.

of course this processor is still a bottleneck for gaming performance but it performs quite well with everything else
