This pleasant university complex is located in an ideal position from which to explore the fascinating city, and itself affords outstanding views over the historic Arthur's Seat volcano. The Royal Mile, the Scottish Parliament, and the Palace of Holyroodhouse are all nearby the complex. A range of bars, pubs, and links to the public transport network can be reached in around 500 m, shops and nightclubs in 1 km, and the city centre and railway station in 3 km. Edinburgh airport lies 12 km from the complex.

Facilities:
This university complex also operates as a hotel and consists of a main building and ten annexes, each with five floors, comprising a total of 700 rooms. Facilities on offer include a spacious lobby with 24-hour reception, 12 safes, and 8 lifts, in addition to 3 cafes, a kiosk, a bar, and 2 restaurants serving culinary delicacies and with highchairs available for children.
