Playing along to UAGM in Iraq on my Roland kit. The song is the track of the SCORE live show.

The small kit made it interesting to play, so some parts are improvised from Portnoy's parts, especially the part where HE improvises. Fun to play though!

  • don't you have a hi-hat?

  • It's the pad that I'm playing when you hear the hihat parts. I'm playing open-handed, so the hihat pad is on my right side below the ride.

  • Ah TD3 Eh? Interesting thing you've done with the cymbals - the you used a tom for the hi hat and you used the ride as another crash (moved it into the secondary crash input). Nice playing BTW

  • Well, the version I have already used a tom pad for the hihat, I merely moved it's placement. The ride input already allowed dual triggering, so I can have the bow play ride sounds, and the edge be my third crash. (The left ride being two crashes on its own)

    Thanks!

  • The Alesis Dm5 Pro is a great kit for the money, and I'm not sure if there are any Rolands for 500, but if there are, GET THEM.

  • It's the one that looks like a mid-tom.

  • hey there. our satan drummer wants to be popular.. cool drumming and nice mustach

  • Yes, but realistic feeling mesh heads they're great for practicing on...especially if you can't afford soundproofing, or you have techy neighbours...
