@JG129 For an answer more akin to what I believe you were asking, we should consider that quantum computers perform computations through the same interactions that shape our universe, therefore the universe is a quantum computer, and what it is computing is simply itself. The question remains though, can sentience arise from information patterns (yes), and if a sentient, self-replicating pattern spreads through the universe, would it not have omniscience with regards to its own structure?

@JG129 We are conscious because our brains, which have that property, are a part of us. We, and other intelligent life, are parts of the universe, therefore the universe is conscious in a sense, and knows everything known by its constituents. In a similar sense, our minds are the amalgam of a multitude of brain cells, each of which has a very small amount of intelligence, but that forms a coherent structure when these separate parts communicate.

Does anyone else think its possible that the universe is conscious itself ??? It just seems to me that it knows what its doing. Sure there is chaos but thats it just communicating with itself and fixing things. Just like how 2 people argue before they reach a conclusions. I did smoke a joint like an hour ago so it could be the weed talking. Maybe thats what this so called God is, its the conscious universe. But who knows its fun to speculate and engage in debate. Thats how things r solved

Man It would've been nice if we were given an instructional video on how the universe was created !!! But I guess that would take the fun out of it , I'm just pist i'm not going to be alive the day they figure out what truly all of this is !!!
