@cam068 Lovely Olga went from Arcade to Holiday Island! Luckily she redeemed herself with a regular Cop Shop role after Holiday Island was cancelled. She went into Cop Shop to replace Lynda Stoner who left to star in exploitation film Turkey Shoot.

@rfitzhen After seeing how the comedy in earlier soap Number 96 was so popular, they here tried for a soap that was 50% drama and 50% comedy. But the 70s were over and audiences didn't want 96 style camp comedy any more. The show was a ratings disaster.

I just read on Wikipedia that the merchandise in the shops was all real and they had to hire security guards because the problem of extras pilfering goods was getting out of hand!! lol

@beefjerky3 is this for real this shit? This actually went to air? The best part is at 2:18 where the guy is talking to the beautiful Olga Tamara who later went onto play Detective Julie Mitchell in Cop Shop in 1982. She is one georgeous woman and would still be today...
