really a great jumper being so tall,and fast too.what's a pity so few filmed about him.he worked on stage more than 25 years and all that remain are may be one hour or so filmed in various occasions ,really bad thing,and not only him ,other great artists that spent decades on stage have few minutes recordered ,if have.really bad.

@pediatrapaola It's some 4 hours of Godunov dance video totally. In fact it's not a little.

There are lots of hours of movies though.

Such a shame there's no video with great Alexei Yermolayev...

That Tybalt from RJ 1956 is a miming part , alas.

@magnumSuper yes but he performed all classics ,performed spartak ,nothing was filmed really a pity,yes l have that romeo e juliet mime part and not so young.really a pity too.

@pediatrapaola The film (tape) was rather expensive and sometimes Bolshoi performances were thranslated Live, for example "Love for Love" (Much ado about nothing) by Khrennikov, choreography by Boccadoro, in March 1976 with great cast: Godunov, Golikova (or Semenyaka), Vladimirov, Sorokina (or Timofeeva). I remember I was a child, that was my first time I saw Sasha.

There is no record of that, shame.

This guy is among my favorite dancers because we share the exact same proportions. Our bodies are almost identical! We even look alike! In fact, I wonder if this guy might be my real dad.

I think at the moment of filming, which was in 1971, he was 21. He was born at the end of year 1949.

He's 22 here.  He looks a lot younger, about 18, I think. White REALLY was his best color, although he wore a lot of Black...
