Yep, Rik Mayall was a cross between Steve Strange and Nick Beggs (guiter then lead singer when Lamahl left) from Kajagoogoo (okay I was a fan but I was only 12 at the time. I got over it quickly & discovered quality like Nick Cave).

alex is lke phil from HUMAN LEAGUE-recalled their name-when he had long fringe in front of face-and rik mayall and keith look like lead singer of kagajuju or whatever they were spelled like!(1983 or circa)tho' rik does also look like amadeus too from that 1986 film and the "go on and rock me amadeus" music video of same year!!!
