how do you feed your soil?

We add a handful of compost and composted manure each time you take a plant out. We also add a bit to the entire bed before each season.

wow your square foot garden looks awesome! I just started one for the winter and put shallots garlic and white multiplier onions in 4 weeksago. The onions and garlic are doing great but the shallots never sprouted...have you ever grown shallots?

Thanks for the compliment. Please send us some vids of yours. We have only grown shallots once. It was in the spring with sets. They did not do well and died. We never new why. Good luck with them. Hopefully you will do better :)

Excellent videos! What type of fencing is that around the chickens? You've come a long way on your minifarm since the first video. Very nice urban farm.
