Singapore, 17 July 2010: The Mobile Column moves towards St Andrew's Road in Singapore for the 2nd National Education show (NE2).

This footage starts off from the C4ISTAR vehicles and ends with the Home Team vehicles.

Please catch the first half of the column in a related clip. The 210 vehicle Mobile Column takes 15 minutes to pass a given point and as Youtube only allows 10 minute presentations, the footage had to be uploaded in instalments.

  • @ChineseJunk1 David, I've been on your site now for over two hours trying to find a list of all the vehicles, but I cant seem to find the one I'm looking for. It's the white SUVs after SCDF's truck. Do you have any close-up shots of those vehicles and info on what they;re used for? Thank you and very nice website. I've bookmarked it for future reference.

  • @haaatz Hi there, The white SUVs were acquired to support SAF peacekeepers. It was displayed at the Army Open House in 2009. Will dig up some photos.

  • Anybody knows what's the name of the desert sand-coloured truck towards the end of the Mobile Column???

  • @arronlee33 Hi Arron, It's a MaxxPro Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicle. The Singapore Army calls it an MPTV. Please see blog entry for 17 July 2010.

  • @ChineseJunk1 Thanks David, just did a quick search on the net and it's apparently the Ford Everests, but with the roof cage, snorkel and push bumpers it looks awesome.

  • u should call singapore shit 1,it sounds much better for you

  • what the civil defence has isnt a bronco its a variant of the BV 206 the bronco ATTC is derived from the BV 206

  • @pilotsnoopy They modify the Broncos into Tracked Firefighting Vehicle (TFV) , for fighting forest fire

  • @pilotsnoopy

Been operational for some years?? U serious? So that makes SCDF the other operator besides SAF & British Army, yes? Can anyone else shed some light on this? ChineseJunk?
