  • Your videos are inspiring.

Watching this video and then watching your latest, you've lost quite a bit!

Good luck to you, and I hope you have a happy life.

How much did you weigh at the time of this video? (I don't want to be offensive. I'm just wondering).

  • Not offended. I do not step on the scale often b/c it never says what I want it to and I think it is about soooo much more than that number, so I am not sure I really have an answer to the question. What I can tell you is that I stepped on a scale at my Drs. office in mid December and weighed 452. I believe I have lost some since then or have at least done a lot of toning. I have another Dr appt coming so I will update with a video after that. Thanks for the support!

  • I never realized that i have a food addiction till viewing this channel. I guess i never thought about food being an addiction. glad i know now.

  • Many people don't realize it's even possible or think they have a problem. It is a viable addiction & in my opinion one of the most difficult to handle. I discuss it in my book. It is the only addiction U can't "put down completely" as far as substances go & it is the one that manifests itself in a way that is very hard 2 hide unless U compensate in some way like bingeing & purging or being an exercise addict. U can hide alcoholism etc. Let me know if U have ?s or need help in any way!

  • "Hello,I'm here looking to make new, cool, friend's from all walks of life for friendship..)" This is what you have written on your you tube page. I just feel the need to tell you that this is NOT the way to make friends from all walks of life. I will pray that you find some peace in your heart and soul. God Bless You!!

  • I think addiction could be a part, yes. But also lifestyle then. Becose in Europe we also have plenty of food. But then less 'addicts'. Hmmm, or we just don't see it. Becose people here walk, cycling a lot. *intresting*

  • I tried to read this book but i didnt like the way it was written. The reader was being accused of making the obese person's life a living hell. It seemed the authors insecurities read all encounters as offensive, like not making eye contact or laughing in their vicinity. thats my impression anyway.

  • @JoanLandis Where the DATA proving that people can change their setpoint by being food "addicts?" Ever study I've seen shows that no matter how much people stuff themselves, very few people change their setpoint.

  • @jeremie2009 "im funny, outgoing, witty, and can be charming at times.." In denial much, Princess?

  • i think i saw that book at Chapters the other day!!!

  • hiya

    did you lose weight yet?

    xcx

  • I am soooooooo glad I came across your channel. I am going to try to get your book soon. You are such an inspiration!

  • Sounds like a very interesting book!

  • how can i buy this book from the uk? i have tried ebay but no luck!

  • I have always been heavy myself, and should have tried harder to lose the weight. I took crap from people, but always blamed it on myself. I have diabetes with many problems now, and high blood pressure. My body has told me it's not ok to be this way. I'm now 200 lbs, and so far have lost 120 lbs. If it was not for me getting sick. I would probably be bigger than 320 when I was diagnosed. We live with being fat until we can not live with it any longer.
