Stronger still, it's a direct quote. Beethoven here directly quotes moments from all the first three movements, which the cello - which represents Beethoven's heroic individuality - characteristically negates. Only the fourth theme, the ode to joy, which represents utopia, finds its approval.

this symphony is the best Beethoven was a musical genius if only more people understood his genius Beethoven will and forever will be the best of the best listening to this from part 1 to part 7 and absolutely love the emotion in all of Beethoven's works of musical genius :)
