Great song. Had some some good times in Beaumont. In person he sounds just like he sings.

@MonasouSCTV I hear it as him traveling to try to win over someone who is not yet ready for a relationship, perhaps because she is still recovering from a previous love. And he realizes that to dwell on her when she is not receptive would be too painful, since he is in love with her.
