Benefit of Agassi and Sampras playing on clay: you get to see more extended rallies between one of the best rivalries of all time.

@mousavsm oldest number one and oldest man to win slams at the latter stages of his career. amazing. just think of he was happier and wasnt wandering through his tennis career with such wonder and depression. pete was amazing as well though, definitely would've been an even tougher rivalry

I love it. One of the greatest rivalries in tennis history, and the stands are half full.

sampras agassi h2h on clay is 3-2 so its pretty even
-
agassi beats sampras on clay, sampras beats agassi on grass

Agassi came to net more than Sampras did, in this match. By my count:
Andre won 25 of 31 net points. He won 6 of 8 serve-and-volleying.
Pete won 12 of 19 net points. He won 9 of 11 serve-and-volleying.
-
who cares about old school wimbledon... THAT was boring. serving and volleying.... yahoooo
-
clay court tennis is awesome, who doesn't enjoy long rallies?????!!
pure art form....
Nadal wouldn't stand a chance at old wimbledon.

Agassi was the most naturally talented player, ever. His service sucked for years, he went through so much in his life (that we didn't know about or found out later), yet he still won 8 slams during the most competitive era of tennis. Imagine the amount of slams this guy would have won if he lived a normal life (seriously). The most naturally talented player to ever hold a racquet, no doubt about it.
