@bone2thebone K1600GTL puts the Multi 1200 to shame... for comfort in touring. Let's do a track day and see who comes out on top. I'm still too young and in shape to want to drive a La-Z-Boy and call it a motorcycle.
Don't get me wrong, the K1600GTL is magnificent machine, but you're practically arguing Goldwing vs. Interceptor- and that's just ridiculous.

I think this is more adaptable to enduro/touring/sport than BMW and also the components (ohlins, advanced electronics) are a new generation

@bone2thebone your kidding.

@bone2thebone In fact..a better comparison to this bike would be the BMW R1200 GS... The K1600 is pure heavy touring...not suitable for city riding or dirt roads. Both are beautiful bikes, though. I'm not knocking BMW..they're right up there in with Ducati in my opinion.

@bone2thebone When it comes to the pricing, you are correct..however, the K1600 is a different class of tourer altogether. A bike like the K1600 goes up better against the Goldwing, not a Multistrada..

This bike is absolutely brilliant...I am considering trading my Ducati Monster for this one, as I have the itch to do some long distance touring... WOW! What a machine!!
