@katarasmoon You're a stupid person. Dobbs is complaining about one day a week of eating healthy compared to six days of eating meat. If you want to cut the budget and save money, it's not going to kill anybody (let alone young kids) to eat healthy fruits and vegetables one day a week. Lord knows they need it with all the candy and snacks they eat. Having them eat like that one day a week is not shoving down anybody's throats... that's called making a decision to help children be healthier.

@StarFox008: you would refuse to eat perfectly good and clean food just because "you don't like veggies"? wow...just shows how selfish, privileged and entitled some people from this country are...try living in a village in Rwanda or Darfur, or a shanty town in Dheli...I'm sure it would give you a slight attitude adjustment. What a disgrace. People are literally dying of hunger in the shanty towns that house about 30% of the worlds' population and we have people over here complaining and getting

If I was in that school during this, I'd have to either go hungry or become very ill. Either that or make a lunch for myself which probably isn't an option for some kids.

I don't get the big deal with Meatless Mondays. You want your kid eating meat every day of the week? Take some responsibility, get off your fat ass, and make your kid a damn lunch!
