Super Smash Bros Speed Run

I recently found this old video. It was a work in progress that was not accepted by SDA. Looking back, it's not a bad run, but there is some room for improvement. Namely the Samus fight. But I didn't and probably won't get around to improving this, so please enjoy as is. Sorry the video and sound quality is a little sub-par.

i would be impressed if you did it on very hard. i did it with mario and donkey kong without dieing, it took a lot of work an patience since u only get 1 life. after all it was worth it though cus i got metal mario and giant donkey kong

@fightboxing4545 - Yeah, I was just going for the fastest time period. I've done very hard, but the time spent doling damage is a bit boring.

Do you think on the Samus fight you would be able to finish him on the side after the second throw by using PK Thunder on yourself, in the same manner as you do in the DK run with Giant Punch?

@neskamikaze - That actually was what I was practicing, but it can be a little tight and if you miss, the run is over. The other way, which is more consistent but 3-4 seconds slower, was a second acid spike then throw for the side KO.

@ThePlacidVirus i think the game was sold to me with some modifications done, being able to get metal mario and giant donkey kong if beaten on very hard without dieing. ive tried this on other n64 super smash bros games and it doesnt work

@fightboxing4545 You must've been using a mod? You don't get giant DK or Metal Mario :P.
