the paki muslims s hopkeepers sell beer, even though it is sinful for them to drink the stuff.

they sell pork products, too, also sinful.

they even sell lottery tickets even though betting is sinful for them.

the irish drink, like the english, to get drunk. not to enjoy the drink, or your company, but to get pissed. the jamaican blacks did the opposite. most of them are friendly and talkative and genuinely warm-hearted and drank sensibly. when i llived in south east england, i noticed the blacks from the caribbean were similar to the irish in outlook and personality. they werefriendly and had no complexes about being black. well, maybe somoe of them have. if you told them you bought a new pair of black shoes, they would give you the evil eye and accuse you of b eing racist.
