but the belief in noah's ark is beyond a scientific stament, but more of a spiritual statment, like adam and eve. just because you dont see microwaves doesnt mean they dont exist. there are many things in this world that are unexplained, but if the premise does begin that God flooded the earth, then it can lead to the statement that God also bent the rules to prevent genetic disorders, ultimately does all of this matter when it comes down to knowing what is right and what is wrong?

it really depends to how you perceive things. take the chair you are sitting on, it seems to be solid, but what does it really mean to be solid? just a form of chemical reactions of bonding molecules. I dont neccessairly there was a pair of every single animal on the plantet in Noahs Ark, but i do believe there was a noash ark, and they have seem to found some of its remains in turkey, mt sinai in saudi arabia, etc

Perhaps not, but still, christians are somewhat irrational in their way of thought, they believe utterly in the maddest of things. Like Noah's ark, i asked a buddy who was brought up in the jehovah sect and he didn't seem to evaluate the story well at all. Two animals of every creature? And very few humans? Creatures would have genetic disorders all over the place within a few years.
Besides, i think your point is quite good when you look at how christians brainwash their kids.
