Brian Gets a Remicade Infusion Part 1

Hello! My name is Brian and I am living with Crohn's disease, which is an inflammatory disease that can involve anywhere in the GI system, from the mouth to the end of the large intestine. When some common medication will not work (Asacol) to make sure the disease is at bay or in remission, they try alternative medicines. Remicade is an infusion that I take once every six weeks and it does a good job making me feel physically better. This is a day where I get remicade.:)

STOP! DO NOT TAKE REMICAID! the doctors dont know what they are saying.

I have crohns, I am med free and I am on the specific carbohydrate diet. It has helped me a lot. Look it up and try it before trying remicaid.

Hi my name is pablo,I'm 19 and i also had crohn's disease for about 4 years now,and my doctor told me I should try remicade,id like to know how your treatment has gone and how bad are the side effects.my main concern was the whole lymphoma thing.id just like some advice...thank-you

Ha ! very familar journey for me. I used to take Remicade, and it worked great for a while, then stopped working. Then I had Humira (home injections), and it too stopped working, they just wear off on some Chronies, hope you have better luck than that.

Now I am actually going on Tysabri - which is a monthly infusion, so the wheel has come full circle.....lol.....
