  • Heh, looks like I missed a few comments. Anyway, it's been on for over 2 years and doing well. I ran it open only for this vid and to drive it to an exhaust shop (you can hear the completed system in my later vids). Also, if it does crack and I suck a valve I'll throw one of my spare heads on and finally have an excuse to put in my TRD cam that's been in my toolbox for years :)

  • Hooker Header, good choice. i have a pace setter on mine. i'ma make a vid. and post it

  • It's actually a Thorley. I've put quite a few miles on it after I put the Magnaflow converter and Flowmaster 40 on it and it's runs and sounds really good.

  • My 3vze 88 4runner sounded pretty mean with the cat halfway installed! Check out my vid if you want to here her roar! lol

  • Bet it was a gutless wonder on the way to the exhaust shop. I ran open header for a week cuz I broke the flange on my downpipe and it was just sad. 3rd gear to the floor tryin to do 65, ricers tryin to race me cuz it sounded so mean..

  • Sounds like a dirtbike, lol, love it

  • i had that happen i didnt have a way to mount my exhaust when i took my exhaust at the cat so i used bailing wire to hold it up (not smartest idea) ever driving home one night heard a loud bang then truck got louder then shit broke right at the collector

  • That revs really quick.

  • no problem

  • @crombieposterboy

    No you didn't.

I've ran open header on 6 different trucks for long periods of time and had no problems at all. and if you knew anything you could tell it's obviously the thorley tri-y.

  • i wanna cream in my pants to that sound... but luckily and hopefully you didnt wanna it like that for to long because if you were to get it hot enough and turn it off then cold air come in from your header to your head it could of warped your valves and after running it again you coulda sucked a valve

  • sounds all cammed up. thats sick

  • damn im lookin for a header for mine wered u get them and how much?
