This is a video presentation I did on Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 for my Flight Performance class on the Airbus A340-300. I am currently a 3rd year Aerospace Engineer at Ryerson University. A few things: I know Lufthansa doesn't fly out of TNCM so bugger off with the smart comments lol. The sounds of the engines on take off are actually taken from real life footage of the A340-300 on takeoff...Some of you may have picked up on that. And the spoilers are not up on take off, those are the ailerons adjusting for the autopilot. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it. Oh and turn up your volume, the tunes are sweet :D

The rest of the sounds were from Overland's A340-300 for FS9. Cheers

They were take from real life footage of an A340-300 on takeoff, yea those CFM-56's sounds unreal. But the sounds weren't from my FS9, I dubbed them in when making my vid, I'm tricky like that. Glad u enjoyed it.

WOW, Those sounds are so authentic! Please man this is my favorite aircraft, where did you get those sounds? Where is the soundpack from? Who is the author? Amazing sounds.

are you planing to become a pilot? I want to be a pilot and I got accetpance from Ryerson for Aerospace, I am not sure if I should take this now and then do the flight training later? What do you think?

Hen, oh yea..a pilots life for me. Im in California completing my flight training. Having the Aero degree is cool and great as a fallback if the airline industry tanks.. but if your dead set on becoming a pilot and thats what you want.. go to Seneca for their flight program..my bro did it and its top notch, awesome program. Plus you'll have more fun there..mainly because its not engineering. However, Rye is a sweet Uni experience, the Aero program is the best in Canada, I loved it. Good luck.
