A two minute video of the D.C.F.D. Engine Company 4 during the 1968 riots in Washington D.C. The riots destroyed a large number of buildings (by fire) in and around Engine Company 4's first due. The heaviest damage was done along the "U" Street and 14th Street Corridor of Northwest D.C. The riots also took their toll on other major U.S. cities such as Detroit, New York, Baltimore, L.A., Houston, Chicago and Yarmouth, Maine.
Uh, "War" didn't hit the charts until 1970. By then the bulk of the rioting in America was passe. Other than some tracking issues with the videotape I love this clip.
