my uncle and cousin are in it and they samoans but i must agree it was in the cook island that they filmed it just certain areas was filmed in tonga like main house, the capital for example but it was just

based on the true story which took place in tonga.and we should celebrate the fact that polynesian actors and actress are putting the face of the pacific in the world and in hollywood etc. so who cares if it was tonga, cook island, samoa or where ever in the pacific. we got to be proud of where we come from and that is "THE PACIFIC"

That wasnt filmed in tonga. Parts of it was, but mostly in the cookislands.

Well, I was there when it was filmed. But Im not too sure if parts of it was filmed in Tonga. But I do now that most of it was filmed in Rarotonga. The Village setting was in Turangi, Ngatangiia and the other parts were all over the main island of Rarotonga. Turoa, Vaimaanga,Avana, Arorangi etc..

umm yea it is lol How ever as u should've read in my prevoius msg properly,u would've read that it said "possibly part(s) of the movie may have been filmed there" And anyway big deal if it was filmed in the cookislands, thats cool,but y are u makin a big thing outa nothing? lol
The movie "The Other Side Of Heaven" was filmed in Tonga not Cookislands lol How ever, possibly part(s) of the movie may well be filmed in the Cookislands, that I don't know. Anyway just thought I'd note that as u could be making a fool of urself to millions that may watch this lol

Ummmmmm no its not. if you search it in google then your find out. because some of those people in that movie are my family and thats how i know it was filmed there. i wouldnt of put it on there if it wasnt true.
