Liberation of Khoramshahr سالروز آزادی خرمشهر مبارک

The Liberation of Khorramshahr was the Iranian recapture of port city of Khorramshahr from the Iraqis on May 24, 1982. The Iraqis had captured the city early in the war on October 26, 1980. It is perceived as a turning point in the war and the liberation is celebrated in Iran on its anniversary, 24 May.

God bless all those who died for defend persian language and persian culture. Babak Khorramdin, Rostam Farrokhzad, Abu Musleem Balkhi, Bessus, Ariobarzanes, Spitamenes, Surena Sakastani,... I am very proud to be persian speakers. Although I am not iranian, I support Iran. I wish the best for iranians and I hope that they will get very son their freedom. Then Iran will become a land of hopeness and help for all persian speakers of Middle East and Central Asia.

Three important lessons to be learned:

1) Wars bring Iranians closer together. It has nothing to do with politics, religion, ethnicity. It's about IRAN...a clear reminder to our enemies!

2) Treasoners like Mojahedin (MEK, MKO, PMOI), that helped Saddam, proved they are against Iran. They proved they can never be trusted!

3) Iranians never forget. Saddam, Churchill, Stalin, Bernard Lewis, Zbigniew Brzezinski (he's now behind Obama), etc. So many war criminals that hate Iran. We won't forget!
