Horowitz, Szell and the New York Philharmonic all inspire each other. What a marvelous performance!

la beautè parfaite. what a chance to assist to this concert. All the following generations of pianists had this interpretation as example what they should try to come close.... Together with the 3 rd Rachmaninoff Horowitz did set standards which will be out of reach for a long time.
