probably personal taste.
but i found out (in my case): i play with much more groove when i use quarter clicks. its much more mechanical when i play over double time click or sth like that.

i thought i was the only one who used quater notes for a click track, everyone else seems to use half notes, it's re-assuring to know this guy uses it to, i guess i must be doing somthing right.
