Part of a series of videos, this video provides an overview of WorldBuilder, the world and level editing tool in Gamebryo LightSpeed. This video is narrated by Emergent Product Manager David W. Bell.

The demo uses a sample application, "Mangled Metal", to demonstrate real-time editing and rapid iteration on a running instance of a game. The sample appication is running in a PC window on the same machine as the tools, but could just as easily be running on a networked PC, Xbox 360, PS3, or Wii.

Character assets (player characters and enemies) from the "Mangled Metal" demo are based on the WARMACHINE® property owned by Privateer Press™, Inc.

    You obviusly dont know that UDK and UE3 have separate updating pahts. Epic is working on updating UDK constantly with different updates than UE3 gets.

    And i am not even sure if UE3 gets updates at all. Also at first stage UDK was released with some lackings that UE3 already had.

  • Gamebryo is what Fallout 3 is made with you silly...and UDK(although better than Unreal Engine 3) lacks the capability of grand scale environments that Fallout and Oblivion(also made in Gamebryo) so epically pull off...sadness*

  • @Iori400 almost any game engine can ..... you need to program it duh . you cant make a game with the engine out of the box but yes it can do dialogues and mostly ANYTHING .... just need to know how to program or code
