Mr. Richter Thank you for posting these videos, I can't afford to take lessons. These videos really help.

Fantastic please keep em coming you are my Mando hero/sensei/priest/rabbi.
Your Route 69 made me put the mando down and reevaluate everything and now I am happy to have access to your lessons no amount of praise is worthy however i am worried to hear of your carpal troubles and would happily donate if you post an address. Once again Thanx

It seems like its always someone's great uncle that gives them their mandolin. My great uncle gave me a Harmonia a few days ago..

@ittdoesntmatter An arpeggio is the notes of a chord played individually.

I wanna learn the Mandolin

I love it! Very helpful. I bet you're a fantastic teacher one-on-one. Very clear explaining and demonstrating.
I'm a fiddle player making the transition to mandolin. This is good stuff to have in the fingers. Thanks for your time.

hey.. arpeggio is a broken chord... like picking each note of a chord at a time.... Chromatic is half step by half step up a scale or down a scale or fret by fret because each fret is a half step

Hey love your lessons man. This ones got me interested in the music theory stuff you get into. Totally lost me though, is there a good place online to learn what an "arpeggio" is or what you mean by chromatic? Thanks again

I have a Gibson A but how do I know if it is a Jr.?

More Coley Jones and Vol Stevens and less SRV. Ahhhh. Thanks anyway though.

I would like to say, your speaking voice is very different to your singing voice, as shown in your Voodoo Child video.
You're not that bad a singer, either.
