rubber magnate of South-East Asia in 1920s and 30s, donated almost all
his fortune to build two distinguished universities in his hometown
Xiamen. China embraces his noble moral values, Chow How Ban reports.

  • This man is a legend. His economic achievements, great philanthropic acts, among other things, speak of a man whose generosity deserves as much lauding as his business savviness. What I admire about him most is his extreme patriotism. It would not be a long stretch to put him among the most patriotic of Hans, up there even with Yue Fei himself. If this man was alive I would shake his hand a hundred times over.
