Satriani's DVD recording of Live in Paris: I Just Wanna Rock, is set to be released on February 2, 2010 through Epic Records

Joe Satriani videos should be a combination of Close ups of the guitar, wide shots of Joe and the band and a few crowd shots. Video trickery only detracts from the experience. Live in San Francisco is the best example of how a Satch video should be edited and produced.

The video editing sucks but still, the dislike bar is hardly visible. Satriani compensates!

I have this DVD, LOVED IT! but does anyone else feels that those video effects are cool but sometimes a bit too much? Like i would dig the solo's then the effects just kinda tripped me up and wish i could see the whole solo.
