A great late afternoon fishing at a local jetty chasing the humble flathead and some other species.

  • Hey Beno,

Tomorrow im going fishing at station pier. What bait do you reckon I should use ?

    Pipis ?

  • @MAXFishingAdventures I would be using pilchards, garfish, squid as it is a great pier for big fish. People have even caught elephants off station pier! Drops into deep water so gummies and snapper are not uncommon. Barracouta are also a common catch using metal lures.

  • @BenosFishing Thanks a lot ! :)

and if you dont mind me asking, what jetty is that and where is it located ? : )

  • @MAXFishingAdventures Sorry its a rule I follow I do not trade/give out spots. It's no where near station pier.

  • were and how did you catch the live bait?

  • @ChristianBradbury Any where along the bay, mostly around Mornington pier, just berley up with tuna oil and bread crumbs. Use bait traps, i got mine from rays outdoors.
