must admit, its to much yadda yadda and to much macross to be unique in its own right.. its more of the same.. :-/. while this is out of context, japanese dont quite cut it for me. I'm more likely to burst out in laughter when they say those "HAI" and whatever that for a western sounds so funny.

@NegativeSquad lumped in how? The same studio Studio Nue did both Super Dimensional Fortress Macross, Super Dimensional Calvary Sotheren Cross and Super Dimensional Centery Orguss. If you mean 'lumped in' as in Robotech, all Carl Maick did was take three shows ' Macross, SC and Genesis Climber MOSPEADA re-edit them into rototech so together they would meet the requirements for syndication rights. When it got ugly was when they wanted matchbox to start making 'robotech' toys.
