@Mach1club if your point is about passion and desire then sure, today's players play with less passion than those of the past. but it is not night/day. the league has always, and will always, have a percentage that play with desire and passion and a percentage that don't.

larger contracts are partly to blame for today's play. but still, there are MANY players out there that play the game passionately. last season in particular showed that. everyone wanted to kill miami. it made the game fun.
