UCLA Police Taser Student in Powell

all UCLA students are required to show their ID's as they come in to the library after a certain hour to keep transients away. If he's refusing to cooperate and just being difficult to be difficult - he deserved it. If you don't like the rules - then go elsewhere, it's actually really simple.

This video never gets old. It's police work at its finest! (and no that's not sarcasm) If someone wearing a uniform tells you tos how ID then do it - stop being a dumbass and trying to prove you're a man.

How do you expect him to stand up? He was just tasered! The function of a taser is to immobilize and remove bodily function for violent aggressors. After he was tasered it isn't so easy as to simply stand up. He doesn't really have control of his body. this isn't about "college students" being disrespectful and disobedient, it is about police tasering this PERSON and then having a situation spiral out of hand.

Using tazers should be outlawed period!There will always be those that will abuse their power.This young man could of been picked up and handcuffed if he in fact broke any law.

It seems to me that the student in question is not being cooperative. How many times do the police officers have to say "stand up!"? Not only is this student resisting and being non-cooperative, but he seems to be demon-possessed too. If the student were smart, he would stand the hell up and that would be the end of the story. But college students have to be disrespectful and disobedient. Asshole student.

I've noticed on some of these videos... cops realize they are wrong around a crowd, and they cant back down of what they have already done... its kinda funny... any way, i wish i could agree with you on the "peace officers" term for police man.

When i see them, there is nothing peaceful about it. either i've done some thing they judge wrong. or some thing around me is going wrong. haha

If he was a murderer or rapist and HAD to be stopped at all cost, you wouldn't use a taser... bro.
