We are 3 students from Nepal, the Netherlands & South Africa taking part in the International Youth Initiative Program. As part of our study program we are offered the opportunity to do an internship somewhere we feel connected to in the World. We have chosen Bolivia.

All 3 of us are quite fascinated and interested in the way of the indigenous Bolivan people. Through an organisation called KAWSAY we would like to explore the different methods of approaching the development of a human being in the most holistic way. We are also deeply interested in the agricultural techniques they make use of. Also, we are keen to look at how they keep their culture, rituals and tradition alive.


There are several ways that we are aiming on documenting this experience. We are going to keep a blog (which we are currently setting up) where we will post regular updates of our learnings, the sights we encounter, the people we meet as well as the beauty that is Bolivia,
