Melancholy Chesterman (Held The Hand by Daniel Johnston)

This is my first flash movie I've ever done. I did this for a class project at school for my Digital Art class. I didn't really get the whole thing done, mostly the finishing touches. I feel pretty good about it though, most of my classmates really liked it. make sure to check out the profile "saraobermeier" she animated the bird and drew it and drew the devil head. she is a great artist. she has two flash movies on her profile, watch them :)

The motion picture completely fits to the song, the empty chors, the monotone voice, the much resticted vocabluary. They both are just great. Please don't add anything to it. It's in perfect harmony. Adding a single hick could destroy it. I love and appreciate it as it is.
