The REAL Golden Girls House

This is the actual Golden Girls house (located in LA) used for exterior shots for the show during its first season. For following seasons, a replica was built at Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL (and later torn down in 2003), based on this house.

Considering it is an actual home with actual private residents (four sassy elderly women, perhaps?), please be respectful of the owner's private property if you decide to visit it.

And leave a cheesecake in the driveway :)

@Jerzeytpke - Forget everything I said. I had to look it up for myself and I see that the duplicate was the one in florida... I looked up the house in googlemaps and the home in Brentwood, Ca is soooo covered w/ trees and bushes it's ridiculous. I hate it when beautiful homes are covered like that... but I know that's just how the owners want it.

Okay..... so, I had to do some checking on Wiki. The home that I saw was a REPLICA of the REAL home which was in Brentwood, CA. The Model I saw was one they built in Orlando, FL.

Thank God for Youtube..lol! I figured it was an exact model because I remember only seeing the front of the home and nothing in back of it. It was a tour ride my family went on.

@paintedbird - they just used the exterior. I don't think the powers that be EVER use the REAL exterior of a home..lol!! I thought everyone knew that by now.
