Thank you everyone. The initial crisis is over! Electricity is back on in Eagle Butte and surrounding communities.

February 1, 2010 Utility crews are working overtime to get power back to the 14,000 residents of Cheyenne River Sioux Reservation. With windchill averaging about 25º- below zero, these tough men are to be commended for their hard work and dedication to get electricity back to the residents. Foreman Matt Bauman with Karian Peterson Powerline Contracting out of Monte Video, MN graciously took time out of a busy schedule for this interview. Alan Veo is reporting from Ridgeview, SD
