i was heading westbound and i noticed around milemarker 17. its right when the view of these two large hills directly in front of you opens up. the ball was just between the two humps of them and in transit. it zipped over to my right behind some bare trees but still nearly clear as day. and slowed down as if to watch me watch it. the clouds were low, overcast, and lit up orange by ground light. so i could easily see it was attached to nothing. i was going 65ish so it must have slowed to a crawl

it was a baby blue sphere. whats filmed above here is a good example of what "ball lightning" or plasma balls (static friction given off from techtonic plate movement) looks like. what i saw was not anything like this. this is chaos in comparison to what i saw.. i saw smooth, like the surface of a superbright frosted blue light bulb. and the glow of light was constant like that.

this is from an old post, but: in may this year one of these things zipped by my truck on i80 in nj. it was huge and perfect. when it got within 50 to 100 yards it slowed down immensely and i got scared as hell because i was all alone and it was like 3am. whether it was some natural phenomenon or not it was the size of a semi truck cab. then a few months later my gf sees one zipping across the sky clear as day she said. it was a nice confirmation for me..

i wish this could explain what i saw in jersey on i80 near the hacketstown exit. but it doesnt. nice vid tho.

@ShinyStuffingMix Tell me more about what you saw. We have seen so much in this area ! Our first sighting during the day was on rt. 517 in Tranquility. My family of 5 witnessed. It was a charcoal triangle that followed us ( past M&M's) It would drop back, then move ahead. It was doing some weird hyper dimensional thing , it disappeared then reappeared seconds later either ahead or behind us !Then we were almost in Andover , it got real close hovered , turned 360, shot out 2 orbs and poof, gone
