Mario Kart Wii - The Drift Cup (Sunday) (2 of 2)

Race #3
Maple Treeway
Someone swerved all the way to the outside corner of the turn during the second lap to hit me with a Star. Why do people do this? It wastes time to take a longer route, and you're knocking someone away whom you'd pass anyway. Is it out of frustration? I fell off the course due to conflict from other racers twice more over the course of this race, meaning I wasn't going to finish in a good spot. That was another evilly timed Lightning Bolt there.

Race #4
Moonview Highway
I did well on Saturday's races on Moonview Highway, so I thought I could have a pretty strong finish this time too. But I keep forgetting that the more confident I am of something, the more likely something is going to come up and mess everything up for me. (This goes for anything I do in life.) It was over when lag showed that "Chewbacca" had driven into a bomb kart when he really didn't, blowing me up in the process for no reason.

And so, I finish one point short of the top three. Goes to show you how even the tiniest thing can cost you a spot.

Most of my races use Automatic drift.

hey a question with which bike (or kart) did you do all of the mirror cups?because i somehow cant beat them . but im not even a bad player or something because on the normal cups i have everywhere 2 or 3 stars! so could you tell me?

I just picked any of them. You can take 1st place with any kart or bike. The computer players speed up or slow down depending on the top speed of your own vehicle.

You just need to be patient. The computer players always cheat using items.

In GreynPurple's defense (who I think is Kenzers?), if you watch scorpionsflame's video, he also got a Star around the same time. You can see exactly how someone with a Star could swerve from one end to another because he did it too. It just so happened the wall in the small tunnel stopped him.

That corner is difficult to take with boost items. Even the Mach Bike and Flame Runner swerve to the outside.
