The economic turmoil that started on Wall Street is having a big effect on Broadway shows. Several shows are closing earlier than originally planned and tickets are being sold at a discounted price. (Dec. 18)
@renethel XD It was around christmas time through january so i had christmas money, and my b-day is in january so i had that money, my mom payed for some, and plus the deep discounts for broadways slow winter season. I <3 Laura Bell Bundy and Legally Blonde the Musical!!!!!!
I can't belive they even MENTIONED west side story, i refuse to ever listen to any of its retarded music or pay for anything with the name on it. it deserves nothing for Kicking my beloved and amazing Legally Blonde the Musical off the great white way. i miss it. : (
Broadway survived The Great Depression. The only thing that changed was the style of the shows; they went from operettas to comedic, yet sentimental musicals.
