@TRENTZMASTERdrumCHAN well yeah but when they have six strips of electrical tape, which i have tried on a few of my rides, and crashs and even a china or two, it completely mutes the cymbal. one little strip like that obviously does a negligible amount of anything. but in most music videos, its just to mute the cymbal because they do about ten takes of each shot. you know? cymbals dont really sound nice in settings like forests and abandoned buildings.
