I was there - best concert I have ever seen by far - great to see this video. I remember they opened by saying "At the end of the show we're going home Daddio"

I saw them in a small crowded bar in 89,Gibby was sitting at the bar drinking right up until he walked onstage.THE MOST INTENSE show I.ve ever seen.I went with a friend who had taken acid,he got scared & freaked out and had to leave after 4 or 5 songs-and he never touched a drug again and couldnt even listen to Surfers after that(he had been a bigger fan than me).I loved it & saw them about 20 more times before 95,but nothing compared to that 1st show.
