  • Do Mechanics even know what the heck their doing? We have new cars now that are more advanced. Rather take your car to the Factory Mechanic than to an aftermarket mechanic. New bolts are being used. Electronic Computer Systems can malfunction.

  • @Talammm

car battery is 12V , human body from one hand to another is approx 1kOhm

so the current isn't any dangerous

but it is a way different story if you will shortcut battery with any metal tool with low resistance

usual car battery can easily give 100A output and melt your tool or part of a car =)

  • + additional care should be taken when removing battery from car with alarm system

  • I see you (or at least I get the impression you do) touch the + and - sides at the same time. Isn't it dangerous? Why don't you get shocked?

  • Great video. I've been looking for a battery change video where the battery is secured with a hold down clamp rather than with j-hooks. My car didn't have the j-hook bracket so I thought I would have to buy one. Turns out it did have a hold down clamp.

  • Spray that thing. Then clean it with water. And brush if off while the water is still there o_O WTF ...a good way to deal with corrosion... NOT. Also... pouring water on battery and electrical devices :/ rrrrrrrrrigh

  • That's not corroded! You should see the battery on my 97 Odyssey, now THATS corroded, looks like fucking cauliflower death!

  • ok... so, is it just me or are these words covering up the entire video? Kinda defeats the purpose :/
