  • Christ, imagine if someone did that to Busquets. There'd be like twenty-five minutes' injury time.

  • A full recap upload would be nice. I used to have a VHS of the whole match, but that box went somewhere distant during a post-graduate house move sometime in the late 90s, along with VHS copies of England-Cameroon, 12 Monkeys, star wars, a couple of half-burnt candles, some incense, 1/2 pack of stale Parliaments, and books on post-colonial Nigerian economic development.

If anyone has any of them... please upload.

  • @Bhoysown check ur facts mate,mike is right :)

  • @wembley05 ur wrong mate,i was there & nayim came on,he played very well too, paul stewart started the match,i already knew this, but just remember, google is ur friend :)

  • was at the game, great memories but sadness from gazzas injury,he got better & better during that season, was never the same after this,he would have gone on to be the best player in the world, flawed genius.

  • Not even a yellow card! Shocking.

  • As a life long spud, i still remember this game like it happened yesterday. On reflection, how big was this game?

That tackle defined gascoigne's career - how would it of all turned out if he hadn't made that challenge? It's fair to say, many think he would of had a far better career without that injury, but would we have the memories of Euro 96, probably gazza's and england's most memorable highlights?

Gazza aside, it's fair to say this game shaped the memories of pearce, clough and walker

  • @Mikez4 Sorry Mike - It was Paul Stewart who was sub & to be fair - Milford should have booked Gazza off in the 3rd minute for kicking Garry Parker in the throat, then the Charles booking would have been his 2nd - then Stewart wouldn't have scored the equalizer - but in the end decisions went both ways - Forest's goal should have been dis-allowed for Hodge fouling the wall (what a huge push) to create the gap for Pearce's shot.

  • i actually remember watching this game. Forest was my second team. was a good game. :)

  • If its all too much for you then why are you wasteing your time replying moron! Milford was in the North Londoners pocket! Come on Arsenal! After all Forest started them by lending their kit to them when they were Woolwich Arsenal!

  • @wembley05 Nayim came on. Idiot. Dont waste my time further.
